@home is always on, DSL is something you have to connect to like a phone line. @home seems to be faster (slightly)... its a hard call with regards to speed, I believe the bottlenecks are generally at the site you are connecting to once you get one of these faster services but still I think @home is faster. @home is about $45/mo, I was thinking Pacbell DSL was more like $60, but I could be wrong. One huge negative with @home is that they have to come and install the service on your PC along with a special version of Netscape. So, everytime you get a new PC or whatever, its another service call.

Honestly there is no measurable difference between the two if they are the same price.
