Is there anything better than your bite? Actually CB was about the only person I wasn't being pissy with yesterday; she put the period outside, somebody criticized, I said she was right, citing a rule I've always used. I'm not sure where it comes from, I suspect Strunk & White, since I'm sure I read it somewhere and that's the only grammar book I ever read. I may be wrong, wouldn't be the first time. The other guy, in retrospect, was almost funny. Spamming a non-stock thread with indecipherable hype is silly enough, but inserting egregious grammatical errors in spam aimed at a thread dedicated to finding grammatical errors and ridiculing those who make them is silliness of no small order. Perhaps we should invite him back for comic relief. On the other hand, maybe not.
