INTERGOLD CORPORATION (OTC BB-IGCO)
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Newport Beach, California
March 2, 1999

INTERGOLD CORPORPORATION REPORTS 5-FOOT ASSAY RESULTS

On behalf of the Board of Directors, Intergold Corporation ("the Company") announces
assay results with respect to their drilling program on the Blackhawk property
38 miles north of Twin Falls in the State of Idaho. The Company has previously
reported average Gold and Silver assays of .090 and .190 ounces per ton ("OPT")
respectively. These averages were based on 4,000 feet of vertically drilled
HQ cores (eight holes) assayed at 50-foot intervals each to a depth of 500 feet.

The Company is currently assaying these cores on 5-foot intervals. The mineralization
is hosted by a relatively thick sequence of olivine rhyolite lavas of Pliocene
age. These lavas exhibit an unequilibrated mineral assemblage and abundant partially
digested crustal material in the form of quartzite and granite xenoliths indicative
of a hybrid magma that may have been generated by mixing of molten crustal and
mantle-derived materials.

AuRIC Metallurgical Laboratories has completed 5-foot interval assays for core
holes 98C-14, 98C-27, and 98C-25 with results provided in the table below:

5-FOOT ASSAYS - Average of Fire Assay Values

Drill Core Number Gold Silver
(Tr. Oz./short ton) (Tr. Oz./short ton)

98C-14 (0' to 500') 0.055 0.257
98C-27 (0' to 500') 0.051 0.260
98C-25 (0' to 500') 0.195 0.089

Average Over 1,500 feet 0.100 0.202

Hole 98C-25 reports average gold content of .195 OPT over the 500-foot vertical
drill hole. Hole 98C-25 also reported average assay values of .838 OPT over
an 85' section of the core from 300' to 385' in depth with individual assay values
as high as 2.822 OPT.
