dstange .. You are absolutely right - there are bigger companies in the encryption/security business - NETA and SDTI to name two.

I believe that this market is huge and growing and will be able to easily absorb many more niche players - JAWS included. Admittedly, JAWS is small and young, but they are also aggressive and I think they will use that to their advantage in that they will bend over backwards to be responsive to prospective alliance/business partners' needs. I also think that the focus for JAWS will not be on the product side, it will be on the security audit/solution side and that market is literally in the hundreds of thousands (companies). Obviously JAWS will not get all of that business, but they only have to carve out a small portion to be successful.

You made a comment about smart cards and chip technology - JAWS has had talks with some companies re: smart cards, but that is not their focus.

One point you may of over looked is the fact that Jaws Level of encryption is far superior to that of any of the names barrie mentioned. The way it was explained to me is that if you have 128 bit Encryption 129 bit is twice as strong.Jaws encryption is 4096 BIT,and they are close to or already have 16000 bit.On top of that they have the patent on this technology. This I believe significantly sets JAWS apart from the competition
