It is hard for me to believe that Chambers was duped but Gates is a master. I think the whole deal with SteelHead, which was actually Bay's routing code licensed by MSFT, was the major reason Cisco bowed. You see how that project just stopped cold when the new alliance was announced! Good grief. Did Chambers actually think that I would trust my routing capacity yo a whimsical NT box? I do not even trust routing to my Novell boxes and they are leagues above NT in stability.
