Question to all regarding OMGA activity and OMGA presentation at Raymond James wed.

Hi A@P'ers,

Would appreciate some thoughts on this. It's been quite apparent that a couple of MM's -for the past couple of days- have been trying hard to prop up the price of OMGA (presumably to short sell into the inflated price or to unload shares they already bought at lower levels). Anyway, my question concerns whether or not this "event" may have been predicted. I know hindsight is 20/20, but is it the norm for MM's to expect publicity and interest in a stock to increase before a presentaion... and so should one always expect this type of MM activity before presentations?

ie. would it be a good rule to stay away from shorting a stock until the week of a presentation? Also, concerning the fact that LEHM and RAJA have buy reccomendations out on OMGA (I also heard LEHM has a $15 price target), does anyone think that plays a big part in LEHM and RAJA's actions... having buy recommendations on the stock. What I'm getting at is that it seems that RAJA and LEHM have been working very hard to prop up a price for OMGA that can only be sustained in the short term, and I'm curious why they are propping up OMGA now. Is it some kind of obligation on RAJA's part to try to have OMGA at it's highest price peak right before the Raymond James conference... and then allow it to fall afterwards?

Or is it just luck that, LEHM and RAJA -who just happened to have buy recommendations- saw the opportunity to runup OMGA and profit from it moreso than other MM's. It seems one sees buy recommendations all the time, but I can't recall a time when two firms issuing buys worked so hard to prop up a short term price. Another thought... Because LEHM and RAJA issued buys, I would assume that their clients would have commited new funds recently to acquire shares of OMGA. Does that equate into the LEHM and RAJA MM's having more $ to work with than other OMGA MM's, which might explain LEHM and RAJA's ability/willingness to support and manipulate OMGA price levels.

Thanks---- Not Howie
