Check out EMC
I would be cautious about EMC. from a PM I sent recently...

EMC was the dominant player in multi-vendor storage a few years ago. Now they are number 3. Most people have missed this decline in their fundamental business because the sector as a whole is growing so strongly that EMC looks good taken by itself, and IBM and CPQ have not made much noise about their products. But both IBM and CPQ are targeting both EMC's installed business and growth areas, and EMC is hampered since they have no related systems business to pull the storage through.

As long as the sector grows strongly (and it should do 50% for the next few years) then EMC may still look ok but I think they are fatally wounded without a systems play. They might be a worthwhile acquisition for DELL or another box vendor who does not have a SAN story, so that is another angle...
