Nice comeback Mary, but I'm just passing on the news. By the way, how come you have not started comparing Intel's management to that of CPQ? (I know Herr Pfeiffer is one of your favorites!!!). I was looking at a couple of charts and see that anyone who bought Intel around August of 1997 is sitting on a nice 'CD like' return of 15 points in 18 months!!!! I bought in at 75 over a year ago, and have had to trade in order to obtain some decent returns here!!!! <ggg>

Regards,
John

Mary Cluney. Re: "Jim Seymour" Great post. I particularly enjoyed the following:

<<DOJ is going up against a company run by kids. Very smart kids - but, still MSFT is company that is managed by very smart people that never really grew up. The FTC is going up against a company managed by grown ups. Very smart grown ups. What are they going to do, break up Intel?>>

The trial confirmed my suspicions about the mgt of msft vs. intc. Great insight. When will the market learn it? Who knows?
