David,

Here's something interesting. A whim to use a 233 dMFI hit me tonight. It's absolutely awesome IMO. Excellent for establishing a bullish (I should say "ballistic") threshold line. It would be worked in along the same method as the SMI bullish threshold line.
Hmmm...perhaps I should couple it with the SMI bullish threshold...or maybe an 89, 3, 5 move over 80. Or better yet, couple it with the 89, 3, 5 screaming buy signal...or the MACD trend line screaming buy signal. Maybe using a CCI spike signal within the last 10 weeks as a turbo-charger. Yikes...I've suddenly found myself back in my lab.

Market magnets 3.3.99

notes

Dow tline crossover day showed continued weakness likely. Near the
bottom of the set of three tlines (9285 utrend) the Dow is very close
to loosing its important support and heading toward the upper 8000s.
Weekly rating is still hold. A few hundred points down will likely
give a sell signal

Nasdaq: Nearing the 2247 utrend which has been the target for
support over the past few weeks. If it fails to hold 2055 becomes
the next important mag value to focus on. Weekly hold still on. A
drop of 50 or so points will likely give the sell signal.

SP500: 85 line could do no more than hold the sp up for a few hours
today. Weekly indicators are closest to sell signal of the three.
It is very concerning here.

OK, so now that my somewhat bearish short term stance is laid out
what would it take to put my horns back on. 1) SP to recover above
the 85 line and PRONTO. Once it recovers it must hold for a min of
4 days. 2) there is no 2.
