I'm not convinced of world wide recession/depression but, I love comments from the chinese like, "we don't think we'll need to devalue the yuan, this year". Well, that really gives me lots o' confidence in their economy! Maybe, I should lend you some of my money, until you do need to devalue! And maybe, the Soviets will repay their loans...NOT!

it could happen, prechter's grandsupercycle
looks very plausible here.

but there will be a transfer to hard assets.

and the bottom line hard asset is gold.
