My landlord is freaking out. He asked me when I want to move out because he wants to sell the apartment. I still have 11 months on my lease, and it's a new apartment just built a little over a year ago.

The problem is...the housing market is likely to tank massively within a year or so. Aside from the many new buildings nearing completion, the HKSAR is planning to sell additional land for construction to raise money to help balance the budget. This Hang Seng rally will be short lived. Unemployment continues to climb, businesses are closing.
