You are right, I am familiar with all of those terms.

I have just finished doing 6 weeks of respite care in my home for an autistic teen. I can't say I hated to see him leave. I have had him in my home often, this was just the longest time frame. It was a good bit of work. It was getting difficult for my own children. I must say though, that I know my kids have learned a lot about tolerance and acceptance from these experiences.
