you're right, they did just split. the pro split argument is that every time the stock reaches a certain price level and holds it for a while, the company splits. personally i think a split is unlikely right now BUT otoh they might announce it soon but have it become effective in june. yhoo and amzn let their stock rise astronimcally before splitting it, while aol had two splits between, if i'm not mistaken, november and february. different approaches, i guess, so we'll see.
