Well, on a day when Nasdaq drops by about 36 points with most (if not all) semis dropping big time, and the rest of the techs slumping, LSI actually went up by about 4%! Now I have no idea what would have happened if semis were actually rallying today, but I take today's action in LSI a very positive sign for the start of a big run by the end of this year. $40-$45/shr is a very possibility by the middle of 3rd quarter, and $70/shr? Well that can be still a year away!

Regards, - Addi

The DELL IBM agreement today includes the sharing of IBM's advanced semiconductor technologies with DELL. That is an absolutely awesome combination with overwhelming potential. Of course this is a good news/bad news scenario for LSI. The bad news is that a stand alone LSI cannot possibly compete with this monster. The good news is that this increases the possibility of LSI being taken over in the near future. My guess is that sometime within the next twelve months LSI will be involved in some sort of merger to the benefit of current shareholders.
