Dow Jones Newswires -- March 2, 1999 Motorola To Test New Cellular System This Autumn -Newspaper STOCKHOLM (Dow Jones)--U.S. telecommunications group Motorola Inc. (MOT) will reveal this autumn who will be the first to test its new cellular system based on routers instead of switches, Executive Vice President Bo Hedfors told Swedish business daily Dagens Industri. That would mean Motorola's new system would be on the market sooner than expected. The mobile telephony system will be a product of the cooperation between Motorola and Cisco Systems Inc. (CSCO). Cisco makes routers, switching equipment and software for computer networks. "Our mobile solution will be part of the Internet - not just an access to Internet like our competitors'," said Hedfors. wsj.com
