HomeCom Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ SmallCap: HCOM), a provider of Internet software solutions for the financial industry, announced today that Colony Bank has gone live with the first components of HomeCom's financial suite of products.
Colony Bank is the first of the six-member Colony Bankcorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: CBAN) to roll out Personal Internet Banker(TM) (PIB) and Harvey(TM) One-to-One Marketing, to provide Internet banking services. In keeping with Colony Bank's focus on personalized service, PIB will provide convenience for its customers, especially the extended client base, with 24x7 transfers, balance inquiries, bill payment, and other traditional banking activities. The additional members of the six-bank group are on schedule to implement PIB and Harvey.
HomeCom also provided Colony Bank with Web design, development and hosting services. HomeCom's world-class Internet Security Services Division conducted security services for Colony's product implementation. To round out its financial solution, Colony Bank has an option to implement HomeCom's insurance marketplace, InsureRate(tm) and its brokerage offering.
