"Unless of course, someone throws yet another spanner in the works. But this comes from a good source, trust me."

Yes, but who is this "good source?" I assume this leak comes from the ERICY side considering the source of the information.

Assuming the leak is Ericssons, one must wonder if it was a planned leak or just loose lips. What advantage can Ericy gain with this leak? For one, they could continue to demand the world and when the Q refuses to sell their IPR for a song, they can claim the Q is being stubborn. Related, this strategy can be used to weaken the Q's resolve to get fair value by falsely inflating their hopes and showing the Q management how nice life can feel when a successful conclusion is nearly certain only to be snatched away. While I don't think any of these tactics can be used successfully to Ericssons advantage, neither would I put it past them to try something so stupid. Look at where current/past strategy has landed them.

I would not be surprised to see these talks fail now. I've noticed Ericys share price hasn't seemed to have benefited from these rumors as the Q has. Perhaps the recent strength of the Q has more to do with the realization that the Q is in a strong position and less with possible resolution of Ericy/Qualcomm dispute. After all, this dispute will be settled in court shortly if nothing else and the perception that the Q is in a strong position does much for the share price.
