Wouldn't it be great if Jach's enthusiasm was warranted? This industry is so hot, and Fore's market cap of 1.7 billion makes them not too big and not too small to merge. Virtually any of the players could pay for FORE.
The fact that FORE has been a DOG follows the pattern of mergers in this industry. I held Stratacom before it was taken over, it was a DOG for awhile. I held Ascend for awhile- it sank as low as 25 not too long before it got taken out at 60. Often, the stock doesn't reflect the company's prospects.
I think Gill will soon trade in his old bicycle for a brand new Rolls.

Probably FORE is the only one left that is still a significant force in the networking area. FORE is still #1 in ATM. Witheir ASX4000 and ESX3400/4800 they have a very strong product lineup going forward. 5 times sales like XYLN will be a minimum of about 32$ per share.
