To give you some idea of where this thread is at Once upon a time we had a dozen people here who would listen to the conference call, post about what they heard, provide in depth analysis of the numbers. Now we have people who quote what some newsletter says like Axe. See Bob says its a good stock. I'm guilty of this myself. The reason is that most of these threads are no longer the source of information with the posters doing the digging instead they are pure group therapy. Tell me what I want to hear. Make my stock go up. We've become lazy. We leave it to others to do our thinking. So when someone says "I like Novell" and figures that's all they have to say to be accepted as a valuable poster I see nothing unusual about it.
