Chris, Another bright spot in the Service Provider arena. Did you know that AirTouch has a major joint development alliance with Nissan Motor Company? Can you say, "A satellite phone in every Nissan for seamless calling anywhere in the US/Canada/Japan/Mexico/Australia, etc."

Regards, Dave

GLP = $902.4 million/million over breakeven
GSTRF = .36 *GLP = 324.86 million/million
or $3.96/share (hey whats an order of magnitude anyway)
P/E = 45 and 2X (3 million) = 45*2*3.96 = $356/share

P/E =15 and 6.5x (end of life 7.5 million) = 15*6.5*3.96 = $386/share.

A more practical dream. sorry for the gross errors.

250M$/82M shares=3$/sh, not 30$.

Otherwise, you're analysis seems OK to me and it still makes a compelling case
for GSTRF.

A mind experiment (in my dreams!)

Isn't GLP a partnership that will return most cash over breakeven cash flow
(cash generated by over 1 million subscribers) to the general partners withholding
only needed reserves? Doesn't GSTRF (our public stock holding company) hold
36% of the GLP shares?

Then GSTRF will receive 36% of the total GLP cash flow over the breakeven
point. (LOR would get 42%)

If GLP sells minutes wholesale at $.47 and the assumption that each subscriber
has 160 minutes/month (1920/yr) as BS stated in the conference call, then the
free cash flow/million subscribers over breakeven is about $900 Million (all cash
to the bottom line). This gives GSTRF about $250 Million or (with 82 million
shares) about $30.57/share/million subscribers over breakeven. The 3 million
subscribers expected by 2002 would thus create 2X this or about $61.14/share
(max subscribers for G*1 of 7.5 million would produce 6.5X this or
$198.71/share)

I don't know what plans the GSTRF holding company has for this cash gusher
(dividends, acquistions, etc) but with an expected growth rate of about 30% this
could be a P/E of at least 45 so that the share price could be $2,751!!! in 2002
and a P/E of maybe a mature 15 at 7.5 million end of G*1 life of
$2,980.65/share.

What a dream! Boy it would be nice!
