El: Mason was "comfortable" last year too. The point is - look at what all this is doing to the stock price! Without this little "misunderstanding," CPQ's stock price would be basing around 42 (mostly from the DELL "shortfall," which used to be perceived as CPQ gaining share, and the current interest rate scenario) and be poised to make a great run to 50+ no problemo as earnings (even "in line" earnings) approached.

Do you think that the stock price will be in as good shape by earnings time now even if CPQ beats the old estimates???? I DON'T THINK SO!!!
