STB/3Dfx: Obviously shocked that a competitor, or a whole slew of competitors, could
have comparatively priced products on the market that offer more features, and higher
performance than their highest end product. Door open though on reversing philosophy and
implementing a Voodoo3 SLI capability themselves, but solely on the PCI versions of the
V3 cards. Performance of a PCI V3-3500 SLI rig would be stratospheric (700+
MPixels/sec) but so would its price tag ($400+).

They've got a part under development for November/99 retail release that's significantly
faster than current Voodoo3 generation, but is it enough to overcome a TNT2 SLI
configuration (650+ MPixels/sec) that will go on sale five months before the next 3Dfx part
debuts?
