Hello William - yes, that is a very good point. In fact, it does not restrict to the net type companies. For instance, ChryslerDamiler is a standout case for old line business. You are right that individuality is an important point, especially to loyal following. And we know well enough the hardcore computer users are the most loyal. Having said that, it is not so much of Programmer Paradise, as the parent, taking over the identity of its children, but to show the bloodline, if you will. Or, co-branding! Right now, they travel in separate paths altogether. I have received the PP catalogs now and then, but I ve no clue what else it is doing - until I become its shareholder! And I ve been receiving Web Review for past several months, but I ve no idea who owns it. Yahoo! has no choice. It is the brand that powers the co. While other smaller outfits who engage in mergers of equal try to squeeze out the last drop of branding for each subsidiary as possible. In PROG, I think cross-marketing will make it possible for exponential growth

best, Bosco
