To all - just wanted to pass on a silly joke. (I am not sure if anyone has already posted the idea that the two new companies should be named Hewlett Corp. and Packard Corp.).

Anyway, around 1981 or so when Phillips Brothers (the huge oil trading and commodities trading firm) (also known as Phibro) announced they were merging with Salomon Brothers (and the name of the successor firm turned out to be Phibro Salomon), various people were coming up with silly predictions for the new name of the merged company.

My favorite was : Brothers Brothers.

Jon.
