Randy, I don't know... we have @home downstairs and what I thought was DSL from pacbell upstairs. My computers are downstairs and faster than the upstairs ones (slightly). I also have an @home email but all the good addresses were taken so I use flashnet for email.

Upstairs we used to have ISDN (which was really lame) and about 9 mos ago Pacbell approached us with an upgrade to get us off of ISDN for a flat fee of about $60/month. I thought it was DSL, but I could have sworn you need to dial to get into it, unlike @home which is always on. Also William posted that Pacbell DSL is only $40./month and ours is more than that - so, maybe I'm confused on what we've really got.

At any rate, my biggest complaint with @home is the waiting for installation calls, which can take weeks, and you need them to install the modem in your computer + a modified netscape version so it seems like you are always waiting for them to do something for you.
