David, I tried it on an HP Kayak workstation (400 mhz Pentium II with 192 MB of RAM). I only did the minimum required training, and I'm not sure if I used the echo canceling microphone. The environment is rather noisy in my office too. I'm waiting until they get good enough to have 99% accuracy with no training. I feel that is required for the mass market to take off. Specialized applications with limited vocabulary are already mainstream. I'll be happy to try it on an Inspiron if someone wants to lend me one. Actually, Arthur has one. Maybe he will be willing to see how well it works in a restaurant full of rowdy Dellheads <BG>. Ken
