Nothing NEW. He does this every time there is a split. Look back in history.

tippet,

This is probably meaningful news to you, but not to me. MD has been selling consistently for several quarters now and each time, next earnings reports showed tremendous earning growth. So, I don't read too much in it.

Dell revenues, are they slowing? That is the real question. It's real hard to say right now. Next quarter will tell the story. I think we can say for sure that DELL is in a transition now. Desktop growth in the US has started to slow. We knew that is was going to happen sooner or later. Servers, notebooks and storage businesses, are they driving enough revenues to counter desktop slowing growth? International business growth, will it grow fast enough to push DELL in a new era of tremendous growth rate? Who knows?
