Sapiens Awarded Reengineering Contract by North Carolina Department of Transportation RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Sapiens International Corporation N.V. (Nasdaq: SPNSF - news) today announced that the North Carolina Department of Transportation has selected Sapiens to reengineer its Liability Insurance Tracking & Enforcement System (LITES) using Sapiens' core rapid application development solution. At the request of the customer, terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The new Liability Insurance Tracking & Enforcement System (LITES) will replace the current system, and will also be integrated with the Department of Motor Vehicles' STARS application, which is the existing system for automobile registration and license plate applications. By improving workflow and reducing duplicate data entry, an integrated LITES will help prevent uninsured motorists from driving and registering vehicles in North Carolina.
