Sapiens Awarded Reengineering Contract by North Carolina Department of Transportation
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Sapiens International Corporation N.V. (Nasdaq: SPNSF - news) today announced that the North Carolina Department of Transportation has selected Sapiens to reengineer its Liability Insurance Tracking & Enforcement System (LITES) using Sapiens' core rapid application development solution. At the request of the customer, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

The new Liability Insurance Tracking & Enforcement System (LITES) will replace the current system, and will also be integrated with the Department of Motor Vehicles' STARS application, which is the existing system for automobile registration and license plate applications. By improving workflow and reducing duplicate data entry, an integrated LITES will help prevent uninsured motorists from driving and registering vehicles in North Carolina.

Commenting on the project, Mr. Duane Smith, Deputy Director of Information Systems Technology, North Carolina Department of Transportation, said, ''We engaged Sapiens for this project because they can save us time and money by rapidly reengineering our critical applications to be ready for the year 2000. Their assessment team provided a sensible way to design the system and efficient ways to build dependable applications and integration with our existing system. We are two weeks into the project and are already seeing positive results.''

''This project demonstrates the strength of our solutions capabilities. We are determined to provide our customers with solutions that enable them to meet the challenges of business in the next century,'' added Ms. Monica Wooden, Sapiens' Executive Vice President, Americas.

Risky,

This stock is like the Rock of Gibraltor in terms of movement...While it looks like heavy accumulation from day to day the stock goes nowhere...It is fast becoming a cure for insomnia...
