Terry, Post #123 certainly is not bogus. David Carlson, the poster, is David Carlson of Carlson-on-Line. He monitors the TSE news as the exchange releases it. News releases from the companies are often circulated considerably later.
I called GenSci on the day of David Carlson's post. Nobody was available in IR. However, Mr. Cook, CFO, confirmed the conditional TSE listing. Subsequently, I called John Marten & Associates to get more information. While nobody outside the company likely knows what is happening, it would APPEAR the the company will release several items in a very short period of time. If so, I'm sure IR may not appreciate the following speculation on the part of three of us, two of whom will remain anonymous. We expect the following announcements/releases in quick succession, but not necessarily in this order.
1. Conditional TSE listing announced
2. 1998 Financial Statement released
3. Positive analyst's review and recommendation released
4. Second analyst's recommendation released
5. Q1 1999 Financial Statement released.
This would permit the listing to happen while generating some significant news to awaken investor interest. I don't think we want to be added to the TSE and find that nobody noticed.
If we are correct, the move to the TSE should be positive for all of us. That's why I bought GNS the day of the post by David Carlson.
Just our opinion. Any rebuttal, agreement or comment? All input is appreciated.
Regards, Ed
