the thing I am looking for is a myth on this thread and thus cannot be discussed. But the positive breadth and the push up in the indexes should push all the oscillators to overbought and the McClellan Oscillator just up to or over the zero line. ALL US stock market "cr?shes" have occurred from this set-up. doesn't mean one will happen.. just that the required set-up is there. cyclicals also make a hard rally right up until the end... notice the airlines today? mY guess is the brokerage firms are trying to prop up the TRAN and get people bullish by touting the airlines which cause the biggest move in the transports. Similar tactics to keep a mkt alive have been tried before here and other places... tyhey always fail if there is truly a top already put in.
