The bags fold down flat for transport but they can hold more then a ton. These are big bags.
They ship cement up the road in them and last year a couple got broke, probably with a fork lift when loading onto a lowboy, so they got dumped at the dump, and there was free cement for anyone who wanted to shovel it.
I havent seen any trucks heading south with bags on them yet but checking out truck loads during the ice road season is a Yellowknife pass time so will let you know if I see anything especially interesting.
