For the none technical, when you type in information to a web page form an enormous amount of info has to be processed to get that form up on your screen and the data in it formatted by the computer software program running on the server over the network --- there is all that JAVA and HTML data transfer over the net to get the data from you. The end result is some data supplied by you in a format some database on the server can understand and then some query to match things up to get you going on accessing the web site all has to be supplied and synchronized. The more of this data formatting and processing you can bypass, the faster the transaction. One analogy might be to wordprocessors. If you know the keystrokes to put together into a Macro you can avoid the repetition of all those mouse clicks and menus and get a quick result. =========== Did I do that right ToySoldier? How about explaining XML and how much of this data interaction involved in supplying logins/passwords and credit info can be bypasssed using NDS?
