YES!!! CMGI approaching earnings release date (which is sure to be fantastic with all money made by sale of lycos and geocities) and good chance of split announcement. Last split was announced when stock was at 90. Stock is at 150 so when earnings are announced next week you can almost bet on a split announcement too (3:1??). Good Luck.

Is anyone there advising holding the stock over the earnings report ?

Shivers is right.

Hold the stock, sell the options. CMGI has been part of the innermost core of my stock portfolio for about a year. So you can guess whether I'll be selling that.

I also play short- and medium-term options. The short-term (March 110 calls) will be sold early in the day March 11 or at $64.50 -- representing a triple for me -- whichever comes first. The medium-term (June 115 calls) I'll hold through the earlier of June or $120, again, whichever comes first.

Ok, happy girl, I didn't keep my promise to hold my March calls until CMGI hits $174. I just sold them as it hit $150 3/4. I'm worried that the daytraders are going to be bailing in the next 10 minutes.
