Glenn -- It is central bank buying that will move gold next, not selling -- look to China which holds enormous foreign currency reserves to make a move in that regard. Gold popped three bucks in NY at the open -- dollars buying gold -- who has dollars and wants to buy gold? The hedge is simply a way of saying that our bonds and stocks can go down together if big money moves into gold. Follow the money.
