"Any educated opinions will be appreciated."

A stock market education is usually quite painful! Ouch! %$#@!!

I think the best time to buy MSFT is when it has been quiet for a while. When people have given up on it and the traders have moved on to greener pastures, MSFT's trading band narrows significantly. Be patient. It shouldn't be too long now. The enthusiasm from the split is running out of steam. No news on the DOJ front either. A while since last earnings and a while before the next. Looks to me the share price is beginning to settle down.

As for March calls, I'd be far more comfortable with April, or July.

Happy trading, PW.

P.S. The real challenge with MSFT investing is knowing when to sell.
