Hmm, well if you agree with the precept that the network is the computer, then you should concentrate on companies that articulate that type of vision. I know that Sun Microsystems (SUNW) for example, actually uses "The network is the computer" as their company slogan, and in fact hold a service mark on the phrase. Start there. :)
