<Perhaps Toshiba is taking advantage of the fact that Intel is under investigation by the FTC. One hint of affecting the business relationship, and Toshiba will go crying to the FTC arguing that Intel is using its monopoly powers "unfairly.">
And they will be absolutely right. It is not
your dog's business to dictate to end-user OEM where
and how to sell THEIR products, which bolts
and nuts to install, etc.

Your company has developed a sick business mentality.
You just explicitly expressed the worst fears
of every OEM dealing with Intel.
Is it what your management is training you on how
to conduct business relationships a-la Intel arm-style?

Can a Japanese company do that? Would the FTC investigate Intel (an american co.) because of a complaint from Toshiba (which I thought was a Japanese co.)?

Interesting.

Dear Tenchusatsu: Read my post to another replier and you will see what INTC could do if it so desired. Would it be unfair, who the hell knows. JDN
