El: Stocks don't fall this much on the kind of news we got. There is more bad news yet to come. Something is rotten here.

Well, that's what I've been thinking. But it is amazingly overdone! I mean last year when CPQ wasn't going to make any money for a few quarters I could almost see why it went to 23 - I can't believe something that bad is in the cards this time. Volume is still heavy though - bad sign. BTW, this new fed rate hike scare is not having a positive effect either.

Hmmmmm, maybe VG transposed some numbers and I was supposed to buy at 102-1/2. <g>

El, you are correct. CPQ has fallen way too much just on the news we have seen so far. Somebody knows something big. Down almost 40% from the highs just a few weeks ago. Does anybody have EP's fax number or the 800 number for Compaq IR? I have a few things to vent off on EP and crew.

Thanks,
-Mike

El
Last Thursday Cpq was trading above $40,then management leaks
news of slowing sales to a few analysts and the stock drops over
$6 before Fridays opening bell.
A number of posters on this thread are WISHIHG AV will be our
home run but the leaders of our ship continue to step on their
units!
Now some of the major analysts and brokerage houses are upset
with selected leaks,so I bet their downgrades will continue.
I have watched over $170,000 in profits disappear since Friday
morning and just feel like the most stupid bastard on this thread!

Regards

El,
I'm at a computer service company in Pratt Ks. I'm checking in to see what's happening and see 500 and some messages. I take it nothing earth shattering has happened.

CPIGQ must be near the bottom. My cousins broker called her and recommended she buy CPIGQ yesterday. I think she said $32. Interesting to say the least. She holds a rather large position in Dell. So maybe the tide is turning.

See you guys Sunday.
