CMcD, your note seems to imply that "dilution is good" and can only be positive. I don't want to start talking about Orwellian thought patterns, I think you get my drift.

Maybe I am a dinosaur or something, but I am appalled at the large differences between shares outstanding and public floats with recent Internet IPOs. Ronning et al. must have been just embarassed enough by this to perform a reverse stock split prior to the IPO (a very unusual event). The number of shares in insider hands was still too big by my reckoning, but in all fairness this is an issue that is not specific to DRIV.

Technically, the market cap does not change just because shares flow from insiders to the public float.
