mindmeld---Cisco Systems Inc. Dow Jones Newswires -- March 2, 1999 Cisco Systems To Buy 400 Acres In San Jose, Calif. SAN JOSE, Calif. (Dow Jones)--Cisco Systems Inc. (CSCO) agreed to buy more than 400 acres in San Jose for a proposed expansion site to accommodate up to 20,000 employees. In a press release Tuesday, the maker of router, switching equipment and software for computer networks said it expects the completed site to include about 7 million square feet of office space. Cisco said the acquisition, which will almost double its landholdings in Silicon Valley, is subject to necessary development permits. BEST WISHES BILL
