48 hrs. is typical for a wire. Never wire on Friday. Instead wire on Sunday night for Tuesday use in the destination account.

My overnights are not credited on the day of receipt. Usually it is the next day.

My biggest fear with DATEK is that they have no stop limits or stop markets on NYSE/AMEX issues. This is a potentially devastating situation unless you're by your machine when your position tanks. I asked them about this today and they said they are trying to get approval from the exchanges in question and then get their software modified. No time frame available.
