<<Also, regarding stock manipulation by MM's, I suggest looking at SALT / SPF. SALT right now is my largest holding, having bought at around 18, and is one of the most promising stocks I've seen in over a year. About a week ago, it switched from NASDAQ to NYSE and it now trades as SPF. Look at the difference in the daily volume and trading range since the switch. >>

It makes sense that a NYSE listing should calm volatility, at any given time only a few market makers in the NASDAQ box will have anything real to do, bring in a few SOES lifts or hits and they'll move as a pack to stay away from the trading. Change that to a single market maker who has some obligation manage the trading and intraday volatility might be reduced.

I did want to point out, however, one thing about your use of the change in volume to support your point. NASDAQ double counts volume. Take that into consideration and you'll see that there really hasn't been a change in the volume tof the stock you mentioned since it moved to the Board.

Let's keep some things straight here:

1) Who knows when IBM will release this product. NMGC only announces when products are shipped.

2) 256 3D/DVD chip will be out this summer

3) Notebook market will grow 20%. NMGC continues to gain market share.

4) ATI is in high end market. NMGC never was in this market. Also, according to NMGC, this market is shrinking.

5) TRID is selling chips at in very low end market for almost not profit.

6) Intel: Everybody thought that spelled the doom of NMGC. Where is Chips & Tech today?

7) Tons of cash

8) Two new markets: DVD and Digital cameras. 5x the potential of notebooks.

With all these factors, you'd have to be insane to sell at these levels. Furthermore, if you have a couple of months/years to wait, you'd be insane not to buy. NMGC has always oscilatted up and down.
