RENO, Nev.--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--March 3, 1999--Payforview.com's (OTC BB: PAYV) Music Division, Street Solid Records, is pleased to announce the worldwide and Internet release of the movie soundtrack to the independently produced film ''FAKIN' DA FUNK.'' Distribution of the soundtrack domestically will be to approximately 2000 stores in the USA including market leading retailers such as VIRGIN MEGA STORES, TOWER RECORDS, and HMV RECORD STORES.
This album features top Hip Hop, Rap and R&B talent, and includes the song by Street Solid Records double platinum artist, FATHER MC's ''Could Care Less'', as well as SHORTY'S (ex DA LENCH MOB with ICE CUBE) ''Califunk'', LIFESTYLE CREW'S (featuring SNOOP DOGG) ''Lifestylez of a G'', D-FYNE'S (from ''BULWORTH'') ''Abandon Me'', ABOVE THE LAW'S ''Smoke'' and many more.
The movie ''FAKIN' DA FUNK'' starring PAM GRIER (from ''JACKIE BROWN''), TATYANA ALI (from ''Fresh Prince in Belair''), DUANE MARTIN, TONE LOC, JOHN WITHERSPOON, MARGARET CHO, CHRIS SPENCER, NELL CARTER AND DANTE BASCO was the winner of the Audience Award at the URBAN WORLD FILM FESTIVAL and Independent Spirits Award at the FORT LAUDERDALE FILM FESTIVAL. STREET SOLID RECORDS MOVES FORWARD WITH ''NO SECRETS''
Double Platinum recording artist, FATHER MC, is moving closer to completion on STREET SOLID RECORDS next release, ''NO SECRETS''. Much of the excitement created by the album's highly anticipated release is due to the several multi-Platinum producers MARK SPARKS, CRAIG G., DERRICK ''D-DOT'' ANGELLETTI, AND SEAN LOW that have helped to make recent top ten hits by such artists as PUFF DADDY, MASE and FAITH EVANS. Production is being completed in New York, Los Angeles and Atlanta.
