Yesterday I added AMAT, expecting a valuation in the 90's during the first half, on the strength of ramping bookings. Why, when the company was at $11, I didn't load up is beyond me...but then, I was doing other things.

There seem to be no real challengers to AMAT's dominance IMO. The decline in PC ASP's doesn't bother me. I expect the experts are wrong and that PC sales, in units, will increase, not stay flat, this year. That will drive AMAT because more PC units require more chips.

I also think now's the time to load up on certain suppliers in the internet area...NTAP & CMGI are my favorites. Those PC's are going to get hooked up, these two will benefit. AOL is next on my list.
