Humbly report, Dan, it's been a long time since I've invested in y2k, whose time has (in my humble opinion) come and gone as far as investing is concerned.

Yes, there is a lot of y2k work to be done, but post-y2k is what I now want to see in regards to any company I invest it - across the board - not just in the y2k arena.

At this point, in this sector, only companies with more than 25% of their revenues in non-y2k work are on my radar, and I don't hold any of them at present, due to the general state of IT stocks. Here for example is a portfolio that Jeffrey S. Mitchell put together a long time ago. Not too many high flyers:

I'm watching the IT firms transforming themselves into companies capable of profiting from the migration of existing information to the web. Got a lot to learn before plunging into this sector!

General Counsel? Only if you need an imbecile in that position, in which case I'm at your service!
