Frank, I think you are right on the money. These anal-ysts try to make a name for themselves and they manipulate stocks. I remember huge blocks of WDC handled by Montgomery Securities on the sell side the day before downgrading WDC.

Tech correction....

From their highs-

Compaq (-36%)
Dell (-29%)
Intel (-24%)
Cisco (-19%)
Gateway (-19%)
IBM (-16%)
Msft (-16%)

So, obviously, this isn't Dell only...

(BTW- Funny how the bears' argument has changed from this being Dell's final capitulation TO this is ALL the big tech stock's capitulation...)

We are nearing the bottom here, maybe a bit more to go....historically (past 5 years), days like these have been great buying opportunities (long-term)....anyone following the market has seen this time & time again...

Frank,

Most of the intelligentsia on this thread do not want to hear the truth. They love to be manipulated with just a twist of Pollyanna.

It is all quite obvious. This semi correction will continue until most all of the big boys have split.

Everything being equal, the houses had rather see a stock split at a lower price than at higher levels in order to ascend rather than descend with twice as many shares. WHAT IF DELL HAD ALREADY SPLIT? The losses would be twice as great in all probability.

The interest rate hype is a ruse.

Like I told everyone, the best buy on Dell will come four days after split. Quit wasting your money.

Low on Dell post split should be $37.

Hope everyone bought BCST!

Frank, I think you are right about the conspiracy theory. Many of the shorts, all 10 of them on SI, headed by Michael Burke and Bill Fleckenstein have ganged-up to deprive the Dell longs their hard earned money. I think Janet Reno should appoint an independent council to investigate these a'holes and bring justice to the poor oppressed Dell shareholders. I have more suggestions fo you in this post: #reply-7853579
Hope this helps.
