Dear MKC: Maybe I missed it but I have only seen Micron warn. CPQ made some asinine comments to some visitors at the company but I havent seen them officially warn. Anyhow, you are looking at the quarter, I am looking much further ahead than yourself. JDN

It's in the time frame. For the short term analysts' comments and technical analysis might have value. In the intermediate holding period (3-5 years) the company's fundamentals and the industry's growth probably affect the stock the most. In the long term, (as someone has already said a little earlier) it's the management of the company that is the single most important factor.
Intel has (and always has had) great management.
