for INTC, CPQ, or both ??? I agree with you, by the way...

Big problem is, there's no real killer-ap driver pushing users to upgrade to PIII's other than cocktail party bragging rights...yes, it's much faster on a few pieces of software optimized to run on the PIII and a few "3-D" websites that may be out there (more software and web sites will follow)...but for now, the average Joe won't be able to tell much difference between a PII 400Mhz and a PIII 500MHz...

Where's the KILLER AP ???

I am long on INTC and I'm sure they will succeed in convincing us why we need the PIII and the next 10 generations of their processors, but I'm not so sure we are convinced yet we need the PIII...
