NASDAQ does not list the buy and the sell side of the same transaction as part of the volume. This is a common misunderstanding. Rather, a MM often will buy shares within the spread to sell at a slightly higher price to whomever placed the original buy order. Thus, the same block of shares are bought twice and thus counted twice. With a rapidly moving stock, there can be more than one MM involved as they play the moving spread, resulting in the same block of stocks being counted more than twice. Anyway, its not that important of a point.

I did, however, make an earlier error. SALT is now SFP, not SPF. Sorry for any confusion.
