Interesting. Why would a 5 wave move down from 61 have to be part of a larger decline? I notice that VTS is one of a few OS stocks which made a higher high in 1998 than in 1997.

Are there any well-designed empirical studies that have demonstrated just how much of the variance can be successfully predicted by e-wave analysis? I mean a prospective study that uses e-wave analysis to make predictions, at different times in a variety of stocks under a variety of historical and market conditions, and then measures the accuracy of those predictions over time. Or is it all just anecdotal stuff?
